Advanced Consensus Design
Designing modern consensus algorithms that minimise single leader issues like frontrunning
Designing modern consensus algorithms that minimise single leader issues like frontrunning
In this talk, we go into consensus level design. In the first part, we cover the basics of consensus protocols - he basic impossibility results that a protocol needs to navigate around, the core approaches to reach consensus in spite of those impossibility results and what the price is, why it is so hard to compare consensus layers, and some implementation issues. In the second part, we cover future topics in consensus, such as consensus level diversity, anti-frontrunning, and modularized consensus protocols.
